Musical Theatre Presented by Applause Theatre – Don and Debby do impersonations. Well, technically they do one impersonation. Don does John Travolta, Debbie does Olivia Newton-John and together they work as a well-oiled machine, or rather, well-GREASEd machine. They are about to hit the big-time impersonator circuit with several other acts in a huge tribute to the music of the 1970s. There’s Abba impersonators, Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton impersonators and even a Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Don and Debby have mortgaged the house and put their futures on the line. It’s opening night. The crowd is waiting. Don and Debby are waiting. Waiting, waiting, waiting. For what? For the other performers to arrive, that’s what!! Hey, Saskatchewan is a big province and one Moose-burg sounds the same as another Saskwatch-toon. So what are Don and Debby going to do if the rest of the acts don’t get here? That’s easy – they’ll just do the whole thing themselves! That’s right – John, Olivia, Kenny, Dolly, Sonny, Cher – the whole works! So sit back and enjoy the show as Don and Debby Do The Seventies!
